Why PADI Advanced Open Water? |
| After your five dives, you'll be
more experienced, feel more
comfortable in the water and simply
enjoy diving more because you better
understand the underwater
environment. |

What do I need to start? |
• PADI Open Water Diver
certification (or qualifying
certification from another
organization)
• Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI
Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

What will I do? |
This certification includes five
Dives, including the Deep Adventure
Dive, the Underwater Navigator
Adventure Dive and three of the
following:
• Boat Diver
• Drift Diver
• Deep Diver
• Diver Propulsion Vehicle
• Multilevel Diver
• Night Diver
• Peak Performance Buoyancy
• Search and Recovery Diver
• Underwater Naturalist
• Underwater Videographer
• Underwater Photographer
• Underwater Navigator
• AWARE Fish Identification
• Wreck Diver |

How long will it take? |
| One weekend to include a minimum
of five dives over two days |
|
|
What will I need? |
• Adventures in Diving Crew-Pak
• A primary dive light and a backup
for the night dive
• Log Book |

What is the cost of the course and what does
it include? |
• Cost is $335 and it includes;
o Your Adventures in Diving Crew-Pak
o All 5 boat dives
o Hotel based on double occupancy
• Not included;
o Transportation, dive gear rental,
dive lights, meals, and gratuities |

Where can I go from here? |
| PADI Advanced Open Water Divers
at least 15 years of age can enroll
in PADI Wreck or Deep Diver
Specialty courses and continue on to
the PADI Rescue Diver or Junior
Rescue Diver course. |

credit towards the corresponding
PADI Specialty Diver certifications.
