Diving the The Gulf

Gulf Trip The Gulf of Mexico is close to home for many divers, so why not take the time to enjoy the conditions and discover diving off Fort Myers Beach and Naples? The sea life and excitement in the Gulf should not be missed, but these are advanced dives due to visibility and depth.

Typically we set up a trip with a three tank dive that costs $150.00 Space is limited to six divers so reserve your spot soon. Tanks & gear are not included.

Most trips leave at 7 am from the Fish Tale Marina. Spots fill quickly so contact us if you are interested in diving the Gulf.

Diving the The Florida Keys

Key LargoThe Florida Keys are just a short trip away. During the winter months, the water is usually about 10 degrees warmer than the Gulf and visibility ranges from 50 to 80 feet. The variety of diving is excellent - you can dive the coral reef at depths of 30 to 60 feet, or venture a little deeper to some of the wrecks that popular with more advanced divers. Trips typically cost around $195.00 (incl. hotel & tanks), but it's best to check with us on the dive you are interested in.

Typical Keys Dives

Keys Diving - 5 dives
3 dives on Saturday with one being a night dive. 2 on Sunday morning with both dives being on the Thunderbolt. Hotel is included based on double occupancy. Cost is $195.00

Keys Diving - Duck Key
Beautiful Duck Key in the Florida Keys. Join us for four dives with Tilden's Scuba Center. This is in the general Marathon area that is not as crowded at some of the areas in the Upper Keys.

Diving the Florida East Coast

East CoastThe temperature and visibility on the East Coast dives are usually the same as the Florida Keys. All dives are drift dives and depths range from 40 to 80 feet. The hotel is usually included on overnight trips.

Typical East Coast Trips

Pompano Diving
2 Tank dive 1st dive on the Captain Dan followed by a shallow reef. Diving out of Pompano Show up time of 12:30 and return of 4:30-5:00. Our Price: $55.00

The Deerfield Beach area is loaded with good ledges and wrecks, many of them very close in so it's only a short trip to the dive sites. Drift diving is generally the way to dive this area

The reef is very beautiful in this area. The ledges are large and loaded with lots of overhangs and holes where hunters are usually able to grab a few lobster to bring home. Divers are likely to see some of the same tropical species that are common to the Keys area but they appear to be much larger here. Schools of bright yellow Pork Fish and Angel Fish are everywhere and it's been said that sharks are often seen on this dive location.
